The keyboard purchased for 369 yuan was clicked twice in a row, and it was eventually discovered that the problem was caused by the input method. Have you also encountered such an experience of being taken advantage of?
The game between faith and reality
A black widow spider competitive version that hit twice in less than a year. The first replacement process went smoothly, but when the automatic shift occurred the second time, I simply chose to return it with a 20% discount. Two days after returning the product, I suddenly realized that there was a compatibility issue between the QQ input method and the Dota1 platform. Anyone who has used a mechanical keyboard can understand such annoyance.
I bought it at a price of 369 yuan, then the price rose to 469 yuan, and is now stable at 399 yuan. The feel of this Black Widow with its green shaft is something I can never forget until now. However, the situation has become a foregone conclusion. I can only dig out the Sano Tarantula from the bottom of the box and use it as a temporary replacement. I will wait until Double Eleven to find a new keyboard.
Sano Tarantula Unboxing Notes
It was purchased for 199 yuan when it was released in 2014, and is now sold on JD.com for 179 yuan. Razer’s green logo is printed on the packaging box, which still touches people’s hearts. I carefully opened the outer packaging box, which was covered with dust, but the keyboard body was lying quietly inside. The so-called complete belongings include the keyboard, warranty card, manual and two Razer stickers.
The body length is 457mm, the width is 174mm, and the height is 32.8mm. It adopts a standard 104-key full keyboard design and does not come with a keyboard tray . The overall shape is relatively simple. At that time, I didn’t want to buy a mechanical keyboard but I had to choose it. To put it bluntly, it was a word of faith.
Detailed workmanship and feel
This USB cable uses a fixed design and is not detachable like the black widow. The plug is not gold-plated and is just an ordinary USB interface. The height of the keycaps is between the standard keycaps and the high keycaps, and the feel is much better than that of ordinary membrane keyboards.
There is a water outlet on the back with the function of blocking splashes, and the outlet design on the side makes the back look very neat. The thickness of the foot pad is roughly the same as a coin. After the stand is opened, the keyboard is raised, creating a more comfortable typing angle. Although it can't compete with the crisp feel of a mechanical keyboard, the rebound strength is pretty good.

Thundercloud driver powerful functions
When plugged in, the Razer logo will glow and light up, and faith can be ignited instantly. As Thunder Cloud 2.0, this driver contains a rich variety of functions. As far as keyboard settings are concerned , it is divided into two major categories: customization and game mode. In the custom mode, you can redefine the relevant functions for each button. After setting, the color of the button will change to provide a prompt.
The game mode has the ability to block key combinations such as Alt+F4 to prevent misoperations. The macro recording function can bind a series of operations to a single key. I have not used this function when playing games, but it is definitely practical for gamers who need to perform complex operations.
Data analysis and improvement operations

I like to use the statistical function that can record the frequency of use of each button in a game. In the case of Dota 1, the hero shortcut key is 1. In the MBTI career test , button 1 was pressed 2569 times in a game. By analyzing these data, I can find out whether my various operations are redundant or not, and which buttons are not pressed in time enough.
What is really regrettable is that the logo light of the Sano Wolf Spider can only stay on, and does not have the ability to set the breathing light mode like the Black Widow. Due to the lack of some lighting playability, however, given the price gap, this is still acceptable.
Two regrets and summary
After a while, there are two things that are not satisfactory. First, the USB cable cannot be plugged and unplugged, which is not convenient for storage; second, there is no keyboard protective cover, so I worry about being bumped when carrying it on a business trip. Of course, for a price like 179 yuan, it’s hard to have too many demands.
If you have no interest in mechanical keyboards, but you still want a gaming keyboard that can be used easily and conveniently, then the Sano Tarantula is indeed worth considering. The addition of cloud drive makes it much more playable than ordinary membrane keyboards. Has anyone ever faulted their keyboard due to input method-related issues?
