Punish evildoers hard and protect people’s safety
The judicial authorities have always firmly adhered to a "zero tolerance" attitude towards violent crimes. In 2025, courts across the country concluded 46,000 cases of serious violent crimes such as intentional homicide, involving 53,000 people, resulting in criminals being severely punished. The Supreme People's Procuratorate has even approved the prosecution of 380 murderers who committed crimes more than 20 years ago in accordance with the law, so that the criminals have no place to hide their identities.
The campaign against gangs and evil was carried out simultaneously with the "Umbrella-breaking" campaign to dig deeper into the protective umbrella behind it. The procuratorial organs prosecuted a total of 39,900 people for crimes such as human trafficking, firearms and explosions, drug manufacturing and trafficking, eliminating the cancer that endangers social stability at the root, and effectively protecting the safety of people's lives and property.
High-pressure anti-corruption campaign focuses on key areas
The anti-corruption struggle continues to advance in depth, and a number of "big tigers" have been punished in accordance with the law. The report of the Supreme People's Court shows that 36,000 official-related crime cases such as corruption and bribery were concluded, involving 40,000 people, with the number of cases increasing by 22.4% year-on-year. Typical cases such as the Tianhui case have attracted people's attention and highlighted the Party Central Committee's firm determination to fight against corruption wherever it exists.
Supervisory committees at all levels referred 30,500 people for duty-related crimes to the procuratorial organs, and the procuratorial organs prosecuted 29,000 of them. The focus of its crackdown has further developed in a more precise direction. On the one hand, it has closely focused on areas where power is concentrated, such as finance, state-owned enterprises, and energy. As many as 9,174 people have been prosecuted in these areas. On the other hand, it has not ignored areas related to people's livelihood, such as rural revitalization, elderly care services, and funerals. The number of people prosecuted in these areas has reached 7,609. Through this all-round approach, it strives to eliminate the breeding environment for corruption.
Encirclement and Suppression of Electronic Fraud Weaving a Dense Protection Network
Focusing on the continuous emergence of telecommunications network fraud, judicial authorities have launched a full range of crackdowns. In the past year, courts have concluded 41,000 electronic fraud cases, involving 85,000 people, and prosecutors have filed lawsuits against 69,000 people. This has created a strong deterrent to cross-border electronic fraud groups that will punish them even if they are far apart.
With the emergence of new criminal methods such as AI face-changing and deep forgery, the fight against electronic fraud has become a "protracted war." The judicial authorities are actively weaving a "technical protection network" and actively forming a "cross-border collaboration network" to maintain a high-pressure and crackdown posture and fully protect the people's "money bags."
The sharp sword of the rule of law optimizes the business environment
Let the market order achieve fair competition and maintain the MBTI free test . The rule of law is the best business environment. The People's Court continues to regulate the behavior of companies that abuse their market dominance, such as "choosing one or the other" by "bullying the small" and cracking down on securities crimes such as financial fraud and insider trading, involving 418 people, making the violators pay the corresponding price.
As far as the scope of intellectual property protection is concerned, the courts have concluded 496,000 related cases, and 19,000 people have been sentenced to crimes related to intellectual property infringement. At the same time, the procuratorates have made concerted efforts to prosecute 19,000 people for related crimes, and punished crimes that infringed on data security in many areas of artificial intelligence and e-commerce in accordance with the law, thereby building a solid legal barrier for technological innovation and the development of new productive forces.
Judicial tenderness protects special groups
The law not only has the characteristic of severely punishing crimes, but also has the characteristic of protecting the weak. In terms of protecting workers' rights and interests, the courts concluded 674,000 labor dispute cases. For groups such as women and the elderly, the procuratorial organs prosecuted 43,000 and 50,300 people respectively for crimes that infringed upon their rights, and handled 4,723 public interest litigations for barrier-free environment construction.
Regarding the protection of minors, judicial organs adhere to the principle of "two-way protection". On the one hand, we have a zero-tolerance attitude towards crimes against minors, with 73,000 people prosecuted; on the other hand, we insist on implementing education reform and rehabilitation measures for minors involved in crimes, with 16,000 people subject to conditional non-prosecution. At the same time, we have approved the prosecution of 24 cases of serious violent crimes against minors in accordance with the law, thereby supporting the rule of law for children.
Strictly punish the worms in people's livelihood without mercy
The lives and health of the people are directly related to the safety of food and drugs. The judicial authorities will punish criminal acts of illegal shipping of dangerous goods in accordance with the law, including crimes such as illegal shipment of cooking oil in oil tankers. They have prosecuted 12,000 people for crimes involving the production and sale of fake and inferior food and drugs, and have also handled 27,000 public interest litigations, leaving "worms" in the field of people's livelihood no place to hide.
Focusing on fraud, illegal fund-raising and other behaviors that infringed on the interests of the masses within the scope of social security and medical insurance, the procuratorial organs collaborated with relevant departments to launch special rectifications, and more than 5,000 people were prosecuted for related crimes. At the same time, we strengthened the judicial protection of citizens’ personal information and prosecuted 6,142 people for related crimes, effectively safeguarding the vital interests of the people.
